SUMMER STREET WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT UPDATES:

Subject: Summer Street Water Main Improvements Project - UPDATE

Dear Resident:
 

The Tisbury Water Works has hired a contractor (Fenner Construction, LLC) to improve the water system by replacing the water main along Summer Street including the intersections of Pine Street and Oak Street. They will be connecting the new Summer Street main to Oak Street starting November 27th, 2023 to December 1st, 2023, you may experience interruption to your water service along with limited vehicle and pedestrian access during this time.

Subject: Summer Street Water Main Improvements Project - UPDATE

Dear Resident:

Beginning November 6, 2023: Fenner Construction, LLC will be connecting service lines to the newly installed water main. There may be temporary interruptions to the water service on your property while this work occurs over the next month. Service interruptions should only occur while they are making the connection from your service to the water main.

If your property has a lead service line, Tisbury Water Works recommends you contact a contractor about replacing your lead service line. Your service line runs from the water main to the inside connection and is the responsibility of the homeowner. If during the connection of your service, it is found that you have lead at this connection point we will notify you.

Dear Resident:

The Tisbury Water Works has hired a contractor (Fenner Construction, LLC) to improve the water system by replacing the water main along Summer Street including the intersections of Pine Street and Oak Street. Due to the nature of the work, you may experience interruption to your water service along with limited vehicle and pedestrian access starting September 19, 2023, and continuing for approximately eight weeks.

If your property has a lead service line, Tisbury Water Works recommends you contact a contractor about replacing your lead service line. Your service line runs from the water main to the inside connection and is the responsibility of the homeowner.

If you are unsure if your property has a lead service line, our operators are available to observe your service from the building interior. Please note that water service materials inside your property may differ than your buried water service material.
