Town of Tisbury Subsitute Administrative help

Town of Tisbury seeks applicants who are looking for Subsitute-Part Time-Temporary  work  to be called in as needed for administrative help. Any Department to help answer phones, sell permits and speak wtih customers who may come in to the office. Pay is $17.22 -$20.16 per hour. Applications available on website or in town hall.

Tisbury DPW- Seasonal Laborer

Town of Tisbury seeks Seasonal Laborer to a variety of manual labor tasks for operation and maintainace of Roads and sanitation.  Pay starting at $15.20-17.77 per hour. Qualified applicants should submit application and any certifications to Human Resources. Applications available in town hall or on Town website under Human Resources. DPW Custodian II

-Interior cleaning, offices, restrooms, windows, floors, trash removal. Occassional outside and weekend work may be required. Must have valid Mass Driver's license and be able to lift and perform manual labor regularly. Full Time (40 hours a week) year round, $18.83 per hr Grade 1 step 1, full benefits under union contract. FULL TIME PATROL OFFICER

The Tisbury Police Department is accepting applications for full-time Police Officer. Must have successfully graduated from a Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Council (MPTC) Basic Police Officer Full-Time Academy, however, applications from candidates holding MPTC Reserve intermittent certification will also be accepted. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field is strongly preferred. Holder with an out-of-state full-time academy certification is required to submit a preliminary letter of training equivalency. All candidates seeking employment will be required to successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation, medical examination and psychological exam. Candidates must be highly professional, productive law enforcement officers with a strong community policing philosophy. The starting Patrol rate is $71,200.00. Includes a generous benefit package under union agreement. Trisbury Police Department- Special Seasonal Traffic Safety Officer

Town of Tisbury Police Department seeks Summer Special Traffic Safety Officers- Per Diem. Individual to perform traffic related duties. Hours at the discretion of the Police Chief. Local Building Inspector

The Town of Tisbury is looking to fill position of Local Building Inspector. The position works under the direction of the Building Commissioner assisting with enforcing all construction, zoning and other related codes, application review, issuance of permits and construction inspections in accordance with applicable Mass state building code and town zoning bylaws and rules and regulations. Excellent customer service skills and both written and verbal communiciation skills are required for this position. Must have five years' experience in the supervision of building construction or design and zoning enforcement; or associate degree in related field; as determined by the BBRS. BOCC certification or conditional appointment required.  M4 Full salary range: $66,732.48-$88,614.72, plus paid leave, health insurance and pension benefits.
