Town-wide Emergency Notification System
There is now both a Town & County-wide emergency notification system called Code Red. Code Red has the ability to reach cell phones, landlines, and email addresses.
Messages will be sent out to relay specific emergency related information, information such as shelter openings, road closures, weather updates, and any other emergency related information pertanint to emergency at hand. Please click below to sign up for this system:

Town of Tisbury Emergency Management Overview
The town of Tisbury's Emergency Management Agency mission is to develop and maintain a comprehensive plan to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all types of major emergencies that might occur in Tisbury. This is accomplished by working closely with other town departments, volunteers,and organizations that would have a role in dealing with a major emergency.
During major emergencies, response and recovery activities are coordinated from the Tisbury Operations Center located at the Tisbury School where represenatives for various departments and agencies work in a unified command.
