Bid – Surplus Equipment Disposal
The Town of Tisbury is soliciting bids for the sale of the following pieces of used equipment which has been determined to be surplus to the needs of the TOWN, pursuant to Chapter 30B M.G.L.:
- 1998 Ingersoll Rand Compressor; minimum bid $4,000.00
- 1998 New Holland Ford Mower; minimum bid $250.00
- (2) 10’ Root Plow
- 1987 Ford F800 Cab and Chassis
- 100 Septic System Infiltrators
The bid packages of this contract can be obtained by calling Marie Maciel at (508) 696-4220 extension 152 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday except holidays or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked as follows: "Bid No: 18-101, Bid for Surplus Equipment Disposal"
Any interested buyer who wishes to inspect these pieces may do so only by calling 508-696-4220, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
The sealed bids will be received at the office of the Department of Public Works, 115 High Point Lane, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568 no later than 10:30AM, Friday, June 1, 2018, at which time and place they will be publicly open and read. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to the bidder.
The Town of Tisbury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any minor informality and to amend any specifications.
The winning bidder will be required to remove this piece of surplus from Town property within 10 calendar days of notice of award.
