	Mission Statement The Tisbury Department of Public Works is a service organization, operating under the direction of an elected board of five Public Works Commissioners, and is responsible for providing essential services to the Town's citizens and for maintaining the Town's infrastructure. Essential services include Town road maintenance, sewage plant operations, trash and recycling services for residents, cemetery services, lifeguard services, park scheduling services and a summer recreation program.
